The origin of the domain FRIBOURG begins in 1946 with the marriage of Marcel FRIBOURG and Marguerite LEBRUN which inherited from a quite small family exploitation.
Their first problem: find accommodation.

When they walk past this house abandoned since so for a long time and half in ruin, they decide then to buy and to recondition it.
And here is left for this great adventure. It was necessary to create the exploitation and to restore this house, to cross spend of fallow land in farmland and to raise their three children of whom Bernard who, from the age of 14, in 1961, worked hard with his father to become a leader of exploitation.
In 1970, he got married in his turn to Annick Martin.

Bernard and Annick FRIBOURG pursued the development of the exploitation to arrive this day at an exploitation about 16 hectares 50 ares.

This Wine growing estate was taken back January 1st, 2007 and appears under the name of DOMAIN FRIBOURG HACQUARD MARTINEZ.
Mr. Hacquard Jean Luc (co-worker for 7 years on the exploitation) and Mr. Martinez Avelino cellarman for more than 18 years took back it following the retirement of Bernard and Annick Fribourg.

It is situated at the Côte d'Or in a small village of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, VILLERS FAYE.
It is situated between Beaune and Nuits St Georges in 10 km of the one and the other one. This Wine growing estate extends over a surface of 16 h 50 a, with various appellations as:

• Le Côtes de Nuits Villages.
• Le Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits rouge.
• Le Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits blanc.
• Le Bourgogne Aligoté.
• Le Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Rosé.
  Et ses Crémants blanc et rosé.
